This page is where I’ll list plans for upcoming sessions, along with some ideas for things we might do in the future.
Some other thoughts and ideas:
- Discuss the Sanctus and/or Agnus Dei from communion service
- Shape Note singing and the Sacred Harp tradition
- Music of John Rutter (more broadly)
- Selection of service music, perhaps with an examination of music used for some very public services, such as our recent discussion of the music used in the royal wedding for Prince William and Kate Middleton (see Wikipedia description of the wedding service)
